Ghee podi idli

The dish most people come for. Soft idlis are coated in podi, a dry spiced lentil powder, and plenty of ghee. Reported at Rs 80 on the Bengaluru board in April 2024. It is a breakfast and tiffin item, served 6:30 to 11:30 AM and again from 4 PM on that board.

Eat it right away while the ghee is warm.

The signature dosas

Open butter masala dosa

A benne (butter) style masala dosa served open. Reported at Rs 125. Benne dosa is one of the things the brand is known for, and it is the dosa news coverage highlighted when the Mumbai outlet opened.

Ghee podi masala dosa

A masala dosa with podi and ghee. Reported at Rs 120.

Garlic roast dosa

Not marked as a signature, but a popular alternative at Rs 120 reported.

Filter coffee

Reported at Rs 25 on the 2024 board, and a signature item. In Pune and Mumbai you may also find cold filter coffee and a filter coffee softy (soft-serve), per reviews.

It is the cheapest signature on the board and pairs with almost everything. If you are queueing for a while, ordering a coffee first is a good way to start.

All prices are from the April 2024 Bengaluru board copy.

Prices on this page are reported figures from third-party sources, not an official price list. The brand does not publish prices online. Prices change often and differ by outlet and between counter and delivery apps, so check the board at the outlet or the app before you order.

When to go

Mornings and weekends are packed. Going between 6:30 and 7:30 AM or after 8 PM usually means shorter queues. Lunch-only rice dishes are only available from 12 to 3 PM on the Bengaluru board.

What to order by time of day

The reported Bengaluru board splits the menu by time, so what you can order depends on when you arrive:

  • Early morning (from 6:30 AM): ghee podi idli, vada, pongal, khara and kesari bhath, any dosa, filter coffee.
  • Late morning to noon: breakfast items stop at 11:30 AM; dosas and drinks continue.
  • Lunch (12 to 3 PM): bisi bele bhath, puliyogare, curd rice, rice combos and vegetable biryani, plus breads and flavoured rice.
  • Evening (from 4 PM): breakfast and tiffin items return alongside dosas, breads and rice.

Timings at your outlet may differ, so check the board.

City and airport specials

Some items show up only in certain places. At Bengaluru airport's Terminal 1, the brand sells a grab-and-go dosa wrap for travellers. In Pune, reviewers mention cold filter coffee and a filter coffee softy. In Mumbai, a March 2026 review named red rice puttu, ghee paddu, neer dosa and Mysore pak ice cream. The giant Bommasandra outlet serves on banana leaves with floor seating, which suits a larger meal.

A note on ghee

The brand is known for using a lot of ghee, and many signature dishes have ghee in the name. If you prefer something lighter, a plain idli (Rs 35 reported), a ragi dosa or a lemon rice gives you the same flavours with less richness.
